My friend likes my crush!?

So I like this guy but my friend likes him too. She told me herself. She doesn't know I like him. I know you can't call dibs on a guy, so it's fair game. But she's constantly asking me for help or advice for getting him. And if I don't help her she's gonna wanna know why. I doubt she has said more than a sentence to him. I see him 3rd period and on the bus. He's a really sweet guy and I would like a chance with him. But if I go out with him, I'll lose a really good friend. What do I do??
