I really like this guy but my friend has "dibs"?

By the rules you have stated you do have the right to negate Jane's DIBS. You state that you are well organized and 'official', and that your friend is as well. Then, pull out the contract and go up to her and let her know that she is not keeping up with her DIBS responsibility. Before you confront her, you have to remove your DIBS on the other guy you currently have DIBS on. This is no small matter. DIBS is important and required in today's society. I applaud you and your friend for sitting down and contracting the rules for your DIBS. Of course officially since you never stated that anybody signed as a witness who was above the age of 18 and since, I'm assuming, your under the age of 18, based solely on the fact that you drew up a contract for 'DIBS', this is really all a moot point, because the contract is really just a cute piece of paper you made. I say, tell your friend, you like the guy and she's a schmuck, make the guy a sandwich (google, 'Colemans school for woman' for instructions) and enjoy your relationship with Drew.
